Our Instructor
Elías Robles, a Costa Rican architect born in 1975, brings 25 years of distinguished design and construction experience. He has been a dedicated career director and architecture professor since 1999 and served as the CEO of Tekna Constructores for 17 years, demonstrating significant leadership in the industry.
Elías holds a Master’s degrees in Business Administration, Project Management and Psychology. He is also a Licensed Architect, plus Specializations in many fields such as BIM, Civil Engineering, Financial Management, ESG, AI Engineering, Neuroscience, Psychology, Leadership, Communication and Negotiation from renowned Universities underpinning his professional practice.
His deep commitment to sustainability is evidenced by his early adoption and mastery of Green Building standards, becoming a LEED Green Associate in 2011 and LEED AP BD+C in 2013. Since 2013, he has trained over 2,000 individuals in LEED Accreditation. Elías is also a WELL AP, USGBC Faculty, EDGE Faculty, and an EDGE Auditor, complemented by extensive certifications in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, renewable energy, and circular economy strategies. In 2018, he earned an IFMA Facility Management Professional certification, further broadening his expertise in building lifecycle management.
Beyond sustainability and his core architectural practice, Elías possesses an exceptional range of advanced qualifications. He is a certified Project Management Professional, Agile Certified Practitioner, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, alongside certifications in Scrum, and Risk Management. His expertise extends into advanced Financial Management and Business Leadership, underscored by certifications in areas such as Corporate Finance (Wharton) and Fintech.
